Loki

Loki is the biggest pup of the litter, and the leader of the pack. He has a lot of energy and likes to be in on the action. He loves humans (although we have not tested him around young kids yet) and playing with other dogs. He has barked at cats a couple times from excitement, but has never chased them. He has behaved well overall and been very tolerant when we’ve had him examined by us and/or the vet.

He would thrive as a loving and loyal companion for someone active. He responds well to people that can be dominant and stern with him and would likely be successful with someone looking for a very trainable dog.

Tiki

This beautiful female pit bull, named Tiki, is ready for adoption! Young, already having had her first and last litter, she has the puppy-like personality she missed — lots of energy, ‘zoomies,' playing with toys. She is great walking on a leash or hanging out in a back yard or with you in your office. Tiki has been living for 6 weeks with several other dogs and a cat and gets along great with them. No aggression towards the cat. She’s learning from her “siblings” how to guard the property and use her voice if any strangers are around. She is very impressionable right now, very food motivated, and will train easily. It’s the perfect time. It might take a day or two for her to trust you (due to past neglect), but once she does she is the most lovable and snuggly girl. Classic. The perfect adopter will have the love, patience, space and energy to adopt this sweet girl and help train her.

Chia

Chia was found in a ditch in the jungles of Sayulita hiding under a tree. She was too sick and weak to walk, full of parasites, covered with fleas and ticks, with a bad stomach infection. Chia had a collar but no tags, so was probably abandoned there near the Carricitos/Punta Sayulita entrance. She’d been there several days alone, crying. Fast forward and she is now approximately 7 months old and loves everyone! Chia’s been vaccinated, spayed, house-broken, and is very clean. 25 lbs, she will probably be a medium-size dog. She is now healthy and ready for a loving home. She gets along with cats, dogs, kids. She just wants to please you and be loved.

FOSTER + SPONSOR

We always need temporary fosters to rescue animals. But if you don’t have time or inclination to Adopt or Foster and still want to help, you can ‘Sponsor’ a dog so fosters and rescuers have monetary help paying for medical treatment, blood tests, deworming, treatment for ticks and lice, vaccinations, neutering and spaying, two baths a week, room and board until adopted. Physical hands-on assistance is also immensely appreciated, for supplies, toys, food, trips to vets. Fosters need volunteers to walk their dog(s) daily, play with them, or help train them, if you have time.

We are not a Shelter. Animals cannot be dropped off with us. We do pick up any emergency animals we can and transport them to safe temporary (foster) homes. Our informal not-for-profit volunteer “pop-up” (seasonal) group depends solely on donations and sponsorships to rescue, provide emergency medical treatment, find temporary (21-day) foster homes, help socialize street dogs without learned manners, then match potential homes with adoptable dogs, and help relocate them. Whatever it takes we try to improve their lives.

Any Donation is welcome and will help us help animals.

If you would like to sponsor or foster a particular street dog that needs help, please write us at ASK page or DONATE on our PayPal.me site.

Luca was adopted by people in Washington state who had a similar dog in their youth. The young man in the photo, who fell in love with Luca long-distance, was the same age and size as a young man in a nearby town who took Luca from a bad owner who was attempting to put him down.
